Service and Mechanical Repair Parts
We carry a vast stock of parts for most Land Rover and Range Rover models and with most parts we carry many alternatives so we can offer our customers a choice. The parts we carry are mainly Genuine, OE and OEM. We do not like the cheap and nasty but we do stock some cheaper parts for off-road use and older vehicles and in some rare instances it is all that is available.
The choices we offer are based on keeping the cost to the customer as low as possible without compromising the quality of the parts or their life expectancy. We are always looking to keep our stocks up to date with the currant JLR models.
For cars that are still under manufacturers warranty, we would recommend that only Genuine parts are used, as fitting anything else may affect your warranty.
Oil filters
For the later models with long service intervals we only recommend using Genuine or good quality branded filters along will the correct oil.
Air, Fuel and Pollen Filters
We keep Genuine, OE branded and after market for most models. It is always best to use good quality parts but for off-road and farm use, when the filters are changed more frequently, it is not so important. Some fuel filters now need to be changed more frequently than the service schedule recommends. We think this is due to the increased percentage of bio fuel in the cheaper fuels on sale.
Steering and Suspension Parts
There are now many different manufacturers of steering and suspension components. We stock what we think are the best quality for the different models of Land Rover and Range Rover. For most models we can offer quite a few alternatives and will always be happy recommend what we consider to be the best option taking into consideration cost and quality. We also carry a range of uprated and heavy duty components.
Brakes
We stock many different makes of brake pads and brake discs and a large stock of other brake components. With brake pads, on some part numbers, we stock six or seven different makes so our customers can have the choice based on make and cost. We keep many Genuine, hi quality Geomet coated and also a range of good quality replacement brake discs. With brake hydraulics and other components we try to keep a couple of alternatives for most parts.
Transmission
We keep a stock of good quality remanufactured gearboxes, transfer boxes, differentials and power transfer units. We stock a large range of drive shafts, CV joints, half shafts and prop shafts as well as axle components, bearings, hubs and oil seals, together with a vast stock of all the smaller components that should be replaced when changing some of the larger items.
Electrical Components
This is now a large section of our stores with the later models having so many toys but we try to keep all the commonly needed parts so we can get your car back on the road as quickly as possible.
Stock
In total we carry over 150,000 parts in stock, some of them are only nuts and bolts but the main stock is very compressive and we have over 37,000 part records on our system. This helps our Service Department and Workshop run smoothly and get cars finished and back to their owners as soon as possible.
